The White Swan Country Hotel

The White Swan is a thriving country hotel set in the heart of Greytown, offering 4.5 star luxury accommodation in 13 boutique suites and garden rooms. It serves many purposes with The Captain’s Dining Room which can be used for both an intimate meal or a larger function, a gastro pub for more casual dining or simply a drink or two, a large deck at the front of the property and a garden bar at the rear.

With its prominent position on Greytown's Main Street, the White Swan provides the ideal base for major events, and numerous community and business groups. We offer our space free of charge to community events such as Business Wairarapa training sessions, the Wairarapa sewing classes, Destination Wairarapa board meetings and their member events.

The emphasis on retaining and building strong community connections while also growing tourism in the region is one of the driving factors behind a comprehensive programme of events throughout the year at the venue. These events include Wellington on a Plate, hosted comedy nights, festival events, Thai nights, stylists’ events, whisky nights, political debates and ladies’ nights partnering with local wineries.
