When ingredients become out of season, we promptly swap them out to refresh our dishes, maintaining their quality and flavour profiles. This approach allows us to continually evolve our menu while keeping our regulars favourite dishes on the menu.

At The Gintrap, we're dedicated to enhancing our sustainability efforts and reducing our environmental footprint. Over the past two years, we've embarked on a recycling crusade, implementing new systems to ensure that we recycle everything we're able to. From glass and plastic to paper and organic waste, we're committed to responsible waste management.

In addition to our recycling initiatives, we prioritise sourcing locally whenever possible. We're proud to partner with local suppliers, including the Feel Good Meat Co., a nearby organic meat farmer, to bring the freshest and most sustainable ingredients to our menu.

Furthermore, we're actively taking steps to conserve water by installing timer taps in our bathrooms, reducing water waste and promoting water efficiency throughout our establishment.

While we acknowledge that we may not be as strong in sustainability as we'd like to be, we're continually striving to improve. Whether it's a weekend gathering with family and friends or an after-work outing with colleagues, our goal is to ensure that every guest feels welcomed and relaxed from the moment they step through our doors.

To enhance the ambience, we've incorporated fun and playful elements throughout the venue. Guests will find entertaining gin quotes adorning the walls, adding a touch of whimsy to their dining experience. Our eye-catching neon light above the bar proudly declares "let the fun be-GIN," setting the tone for a lively and enjoyable time. We also have an electric ladder the lowers from the ceiling to help the bar staff reach the top shelves as we have so many gins to display.

Overall, our aim is to create an atmosphere where guests can feel both relaxed and impressed. We want every visit to The Gintrap to be a memorable experience, filled with great food, delicious drinks, and warm hospitality.
