Describe the experience your customers have at your establishment – what is your food and beverage offering and why do people come back for more?
We are a Latin fusion craft beer bar with a South American-inspired menu with a local twist, some of our most popular dishes being moqueca - a seafood stew from Brazil. We have 16 taps of excellent local beer and delish cocktails and wines.
Tell us how you showcase NZ produce / offerings? Does your menu change with the season, and how is it locally influenced? How do you accommodate allergy and dietary requirements?
Our whole menu can be made gluten free on request, we are a nut free venue and also offer a huge range of plant based options. Our menu changes seasonally - but our core items, such as the aforementioned moqueca, will always be on. We use local suppliers, and have fresh, seasonal produce and an excellent relationship with all of our suppliers.
What are your key points of difference and how have you managed to deliver them?
Our menu is the only one like it in the whole Greater Wellington region. Our staff are the cheerful faces of Bebemos- always willing to help with a smile.

Our duty is to provide a safe and warm home away from home, and all our staff and customers look out for each other and make sure intoxicated people aren’t served and that they all get home safely.

Having a large plant-based element to our menu, we compost on-site and buy local ingredients wherever possible.

Our pub is decorated in an electric Latin-inspired way, with lovely lighting, cosy booths and a fireplace. We have an amazing outdoor area with a stunning mural a local artist painted, large sociable tables and festoon lighting.
